The Houghton Conservation Area, owned by the Buffalo Niagara River Land Trust (BNRLT), includes 24.5 acres of land along and near the north bank of the Buffalo River. The BNRLT is engaging with the public to develop the vision for this Conservation Area and to create improved public access while maintaining the habitat for native vegetation and local wildlife. Our team assisted the BNRLT with its Houghton Conservation Area Nature Inspiration Day by providing environmental education and community engagement focused on the natural resources and invasive species in the Conservation Area.
